However YWCA continues to work with pregnant teenagers and young mums and campaigns for them to get a better deal in our society.
Every day, young mums struggle against the odds. They face prejudice
in the media, barriers in accessing services like education, health
and childcare and ongoing poverty. Yet they just want the same chances
– for themselves and their children – as anyone else.
